Our workshops aren’t just about writing. They’re about curiosity and imagination, using sources, expressing ideas, being creative, and thinking critically.
Led by experienced Writing Center consultants and administrators, each 50-minute workshop offers an opportunity to work interactively on a particular writing skill or type of writing. Students don’t need to do anything to prepare for the workshop or bring anything except themselves and their interest.
Workshops are by request only and require the approval of the director. If you would like to request a session for your unit, cohort, or organization, please contact Brian McTague, Writing Center Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When emailing your request, please include all necessary information, including the topic you'd like us to discuss, the number of students who will be attending, as well as location details and preferred days and times.
We ask for at least one month's notice for all workshop requests.
